Product Review: Kokatat Hustle R
Kokatat have been making high quality kit for years, but their PFD selection hasn't always been as eye catching as other brands in my opinion.
Enter the Hustle and Hustle R.
Designed with safety, practicality and comfort in mind. The lightweight foam is shaped to wrap around your torso which also adds a bit of protection to the side of your rib cage, accompanied with its soft shell inner lining and a three strap system means you get complete comfort when wearing it.
On the front is a huge pocket which also flips open for ease of access. There is a stash away opening behind the pocket and a snap clip D ring to attach a cowstail. Below the pocket is a knife clip and a nicely cut flap for coverage. The storage design is actually fairly simple on the Hustle R which I really like. It's not over complicated, it keeps the entire PFD low profile and it does the job very well.
Before I picked up the Kokatat Hustle R I was a little unsure with what I was going to say about it, but since using it sea, surf and whitewater kayaking iI have found it's actually my new "do everything" PFD.
[The team are going to have a job getting this one back from me. Sorry but I'm keeping it!]
This lightweight, low profile, comfortable, underdog of a buoyancy aid from Kokatat is about to do exactly what the name suggests. Hustle!
