Touring SUP's are best if you want to increase your speed, go on long distance expeditions or even just exploring the coastline. The length and shape of these boards allow for a better glide through the water, cutting through the waves with the pointed nose and using the narrow body to push the water aside. The pointed nose also makes it easier for you to maintain paddling in a straight line with less steering than you would on an all rounder board.
