Mother's day gift guide
It's hard to find a gift that shows your mum just how much you appreciate them, but we've come up with a couple ideas that we think the adventuring mums would enjoy.
First up is something for the mums who wild swim
Wild swimming has become such a craze, it seems everyone is doing it. If your mum has joined in, help make her dip more comfortable with the help of a hat to help her stay warm in the water, or maybe a change robe to cosy up in after with a hot flask of tea.
Next we have the mums who SUP
Your mum probably generally has what she needs for her paddleboard trip, but there's a few accessories that are sometimes forgotten. A waterproof pouch is essential for keeping your phone dry whilst allowing you to capture the moments of the day. We now also have food flasks that you can take with you ready for a sunny picnic and rest up.
Now we need something for the mums who surf
With the summer sun making it's return, there no better time to get back out on a surf board. We always think it's handy to have some seat covers in your car or van to protect the seats from the salty water after a big surf, with your surfboard being protected with a surfboard bag when you're not using it.
Last but no means least, something for the mums who kayak
Finally, kayaking. What on earth do you get a kayaker? Instead of trying to get in to the technical kayaking equipment, maybe stick to some basics that you know will an provide a helping hand on their trips to the water. A kayak trolley, for example, makes it so much easier to get a their kayak from one place to another, and having a drybag on board is best for keeping essentials dry, letting the kayak trip go on without worry.
Still not sure? Why not gift a lesson this mothers day and encourage your mum to get in the water trying something new. Check out our blog post offering various schools that you could book in with.
